I received my materials for the Teachers for a Global Classroom. I got wi-fi camera, a webcam, a tripod, and the book I will need for my course. In order to get a head start on the web course that I will need to take I skimmed the book, they sent me and even read a couple sections. I found a great quote that while I was reading that I hope to incorporate into my teaching. "The best way to prepare students for the future is to equip them to invent it." - Alan Kay, computer scientist
The welcoming webinar is happening tomorrow and I am looking forward to it.
